INGREDIENTS
I cup of white whole-wheat flour.
1 cup of rolled oats or quick oats
2 tablespoons of coconut sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg or cinnamon
2 teaspoons of baking powder
100ml of melted plantbased butter
2 tablespoons of plant based yogurt
1 + 1/2 tablespoons of coconut milk
2 teaspoons of lemon zest
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut the dough in circles in about 7cm rounds.
Place them in a prepared baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake them in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until lightly or golden brown.
Put the biscuits on a cooling rack and allow to cool completely.
NOTE Allow the biscuits. to cool completely at room temperature before serving or store in an air tight container and keep in the refrigerator to enjoy within the next 48 hours.
