Dairy-Free Mango Crumb Cake that tastes great for every Occasion



I love every bit of this impressive low calorie Cake made with fresh Mangoes, it is healthier, special for any Occasion and perfect for afternoon tea. This Vegan Cake with Mango and Lemon flavors is so easy to make and you can easily bake it for family and friends during the Festive Season or for Birthday Party. This super moist Mango streusel Cake or German Streuselkuchen with crunchy and crumbly topping is made with no Butter, Egg or Milk and tastes absolutely so delicious. This Cake is one of my favourite Cakes and it is among my best healthier Mango Cake recipes..


Ingredients for the Crumb:

  • 1/2 cup white-whole Wheat Flour

  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Sugar

  • 6 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

  • 3 tablespoons ground Almonds

  • 1 tablespoon ground Hazelnuts

Ingredients for the Cake Batter:

  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour

  • 1/2 cup (125g) Applesauce

  • 1/2 cup (118ml) Vegetable Oil

  • 1/4 cup (59ml) Almond Milk

  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder

  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest

  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions:

Mango topping: Wash, peel, slice and dice 1 large Mango

Mix the diced Mangoes with 1 tablespoon of All-purpose Flour and 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric and set aside


Crumbs: Combine the Crumb ingredients together starting with the dry ingredients and mix slowly until crumbs are formed.


Cake Batter: Mix the dry ingredients in a large Bowl.

Sift the mixed dry ingredients and combine together with the mixed wet ingredients.

Combine carefully and don't over mix.

Pour Batter into the Cake Pan.

Scatter the diced Mangoes on top of the Batter.

Sprinkle the prepared Crumbs on the top

Bake in a preheated Oven- 350° F for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden stick inserted into the middle comes out clean (Baking time varies, it is better to keep eye on your Cake and confirm with wooden stick)
